Shipping & delivery

Every placement is arranged individually and carefully. Here is how we approach it.

How delivery works

Because marmosets and capuchins are live animals, there is no one-size-fits-all shipping option. How a baby travels to you depends on the baby’s age and health, your location, the weather, and the legal requirements at the destination.

Please note: many airlines and couriers do not accept primates, so transport has to be planned with care. Call or text us first, before making any travel arrangements of your own.

Step by step

  1. Choose a baby. Browse the Available page and confirm availability with us.
  2. Tell us where you are. Share your country, state or province and city so we can discuss what is allowed and what is realistic.
  3. Confirm legal requirements. Permits, licences or health paperwork may be required at your destination. These are the buyer’s responsibility to confirm and obtain.
  4. Agree on how the baby travels. Depending on your location, this may be local pickup or a carefully arranged delivery. We will talk through the options with you.
  5. Prepare for arrival. Have your enclosure, food, supplies and veterinarian ready before the baby comes home.

  • A prepared, secure enclosure and a plan for daily care
  • A primate-experienced veterinarian
